Building Surveys
With a variety of survey types, for a number of reasons, be it on the whole building or even just part, we aim to provide the correct level of detail for a given instruction including any shortfalls against current legislation.
Defect Diagnosis
All properties are subject to day to day wear or more severe problems to varying degrees during their life cycle. Our full range of skills enables us to review and report on building related defects from minor to major, from cosmetic to structural.
Life Cycle Costing
The year on year use of a property and its associated repair costs are normally attributable to either a service charge regime or more directly impact on a company’s profitability. Looking at present and future costs associated with the operation and maintenance of a property and by profiling these it enables a clearer understanding of possible future expenditure and in doing so returns control back to the business.
Maintenance Management
It is important that all buildings are reviewed regularly to maintain their functionality as part of ongoing property asset management. Buildings are best thought of as a collection of component parts that have a varying life expectancy depending upon their frequency of use, though these components usually have a shorter life span than the building as a whole.
Maintenance management is therefore the reviewing of all these component parts to ensure their timely replacement.
